Warren took four players from his KC Band to LA to record this LP. They were Sherman Gibson, trumpet; Richard Wilson, Trumpet, Bob Ousley, Alto Sax & Clarinet; Arch Martin,
trombone. It was recorded in Studio "A" at Capitol Records Tower in Hollywood. Some of the players, hired by Bill Miller, producer, were Bud Brisbois, John Audino, Conti Condoli, Kai
Winding, Dick Nash, Phil Teele, Chuck Gentry, Ted Nash, Dennis Budimir, Carol Kaye, Paul Humphries and others. Sammy Nestico was there to conduct the chart he had been commissioned to write for the session, "Who's Sorry Now".
